Challenge
Federal pandemic-relief oversight required a public publishing platform that could explain complex spending information to broad audiences while supporting an ongoing federal editorial operation. The work had to fit the security, accessibility, and governance expectations of a high-visibility government property.
Contribution
Wilkes & Liberty's principal engineer contributed platform engineering and content-infrastructure work to pandemicoversight.gov, the public site operated for the Pandemic Response Accountability Committee. The Drupal implementation supported structured publishing and editorial workflows for oversight content.
The engagement is relevant to our current forward-deployed practice because it joined engineering to the operating context: public accountability, federal editorial process, and information that had to remain understandable under scrutiny. We do not claim sole delivery of the platform, a specific prime or subcontract role, traffic volumes, launch speed, or audit results without supporting records.
Outcome
The platform served the public during the federal pandemic-response period and is now archived. The durable proof is narrower and more useful than an invented metric: hands-on contribution to a Drupal-based federal oversight publishing environment, with work spanning platform engineering and content infrastructure.
